On Saturday, Chelsea Clinton sent out the single stupidest tweet of all time.
Clinton, after she saw the cover of a Lincoln Day Dinner program showing a photo of Abraham Lincoln wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat, took to Twitter to question whether or not Abe ever wore a Trump hat or not.
Please tell me this is photoshopped. Please? https://t.co/WezDQx6IvT

Here is the original tweet that prompted Clinton’s reply:

Twitter users were brutal to Chelsea, seizing the opportunity to mock her for the ill-informed tweet:

Whether she was joking or just being sarcastic, Chelsea’s tweet gave many the opportunity to mock her.
She also gave many of us a great laugh as we pondered whether or not Abraham Lincoln ever did actually wear that red hat.
