Biden Issues Executive Order on 'Access to Voting' — Yeah, It's Even Worse Than It Sounds

All that conservatives need to read is “Biden issues executive order” to know that “the rest of the story” is going to be bad. And when it’s “Biden issues executive order on access to voting,” we know the rest of the story is going to be really bad. Such was the case, Sunday.

The executive-order-happy Biden* issued an executive order on Sunday that instructs Federal Government agencies to promote voter registration, help Americans apply to vote by mail, and “combat misinformation,” among other measures, as reported by Breitbart.

The “Executive Order on Promoting Access to Voting” reads like a Democrat Party wish-list of “reforms,” noted Breitbart, that “enshrines many of the practices that were adopted on a temporary basis during the pandemic-affected 2020 election.”

Biden’s EO begins with the same ol’, same ol’ “logic” that everything the Democrat Party proposes or supports begins with, these days. Try to contain your shock and amazement.

“The right to vote is the foundation of American democracy. Free and fair elections that reflect the will of the American people must be protected and defended. But many Americans, especially people of color, confront significant obstacles to exercising that fundamental right.

“These obstacles include difficulties with voter registration, lack of election information, and barriers to access at polling places. For generations, Black voters and other voters of color have faced discriminatory policies and other obstacles that disproportionally affect their communities.

Or so we’re told. Biden’s order includes the following provisions:

  • using federal agencies to promote voter registration;
  • using federal agencies to inform Americans about voting;
  • linking federal agency websites to state voter registration websites;
  • providing voter registration and vote-by-mail applications;
  • using “approved, nonpartisan third-party organizations” to register voters at federal agencies;
  • using identification documents issued by the agency to help people register to vote;
  • providing more multilingual services to potential voters;
  • giving public employees “time off to vote in Federal, State, local, Tribal, and territorial elections”;
  • and promoting voter registration for federal prisoners.

Incidentally, raise your hand if you’d bet your house that the last bullet point would read “and promoting voter registration for federal prisoners and undocumented immigrants if Biden and the Democrats thought they could get away with it — exactly as they approved COVID checks for prisoners and illegal aliens.

Former New York City Police Chief Bernard Kerick shared his disgust on Twitter.

One provision states: “It is the responsibility of the Federal Government to expand access to, and education about, voter registration and election information, and to combat misinformation, in order to enable all eligible Americans to participate in our democracy.”

Cast your mind back to legitimate and accurate reports on serious allegations against Biden’s grifter son, Hunter Biden, in the waning months of the 2020 presidential campaign. Not only were the accusations suppressed by Big Tech but so-called “mainstream” media outlets dismissed them out of hand, labeled the scandal “misinformation,” a “conspiracy theory,” or ignored the charges altogether.

Then we had Schiff for Brains™, the inimitable California Democrat congressman, who smugly declared — with zero evidence, as was the case throughout his four years of ridiculous nonsense about Donald Trump and Russian “collusion” — that allegations against Hunter Biden were a “smear against Joe Biden that comes from the Kremlin.”

Let’s pretend Biden’s executive order had been in effect when his son’s slimy laptop scandal broke. What would the chances have been that the Federal Government would have “combatted the misinformation in order to enable all eligible Americans to participate in our democracy”? I’ll lay the odds at somewhere between 100 percent and 100 percent.

Joel Pollak, senior editor-at-large for Breitbart, called Biden’s Executive Order on Promoting Access to Voting exactly what it is and nailed exactly why he issued it.

“Joe Biden is weaponizing the federal government to tilt voting in Democrats’ favor. He’s enacting H.R. 1 by fiat because it won’t pass the Senate. Unless this is stopped in the courts we will never have another free and fair election.”

To Pollak’s point, H.R. 1 faces an uphill battle in the Senate.

The bottom line:

Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and Biden’s handlers don’t intend for the Democrat Party to lose another presidential election, as it did in 2016 — least of all to Donald Trump — and they don’t intend to allow the House to be recaptured by the Republicans, which looks likely after the beatdown the GOP delivered to Pelosi’s Democrat Caucus in November.

And what better way to codify their intentions through legislation and when necessary, executive edict? Much less messy that way, isn’t it?
