The latest edition of Jake Tapper’s excellent series (done in conjunction with factcheck.org) deals with Hillary’s claim on Fox News this Sunday that James Comey said that the claims she made about her emails were “truthful.” As you might have expected, this particular claim did not really pass the laugh test:

Brutal. Note, of course, that these instances of Comey calling Clinton a liar but, you know, it’s important for these things to be relatively brief in order to hold people’s attention in the Internet age. I think, though, that Tapper got the point across. It’s rare to find such brutal fairness being directed at both sides of the aisle but that seems to be Tapper’s stock-in-trade.
