It appears that Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, may have a larger role in President-elect Trump’s upcoming administration than previously thought.
Jim Jamitis recently discussed Ivanka’s ever-expanding role here, and one of her signature issues is climate change.
As reported by CNN on Monday morning, the two are looking at homes in D.C.
Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, are house hunting in Washington as they look to move from New York City to D.C., CNN has learned.
The couple’s planned move with their three children reflects the expectation that Kushner will serve as an adviser to President-elect Donald Trump in some capacity, though the precise role — potentially complicated by nepotism laws — remains to be seen.
Also Monday morning, a somewhat surprising meeting was announced between Ivanka Trump and former Vice President Al Gore to discuss climate change.

Now that’s not very conservative or even very Republican.
Considering Ivanka may have quite the influence upon her father during his tenure in D.C, this is troublesome.
Not to mention the obvious elephant in the room: the meeting was with Al Gore. This man is the failed 2000 Democratic presidential candidate and former VP to Bill Clinton turned environmental fearmonger. Gore has little to no credibility and should not even be taken seriously when discussing issues facing the nation.
And Ivanka Trump met with him?
I say the meeting is only somewhat surprising because we know that President-elect Trump isn’t exactly a conservative. Furthermore, his daughter, who may help steer his focus, is entertaining climate rhetoric from people like Gore. This is just additional proof of his rather, shall we say, middle of the road – if not liberal – approach to things.
We shall see what Ivanka Trump’s role is once her father is inaugurated. But today’s meeting with Gore to discuss climate issues does not promise that her influence will be a conservative one.
