For every cloud, a silver lining.
Nothing creates a conservative quite like a leftist. It's an interesting phenomenon that stems from the fact that the left tends to drift further to the left over the course of time until they casually drift into radicalism. While there are definitely elements of the right that make their way further and further rightward, for the most part, the majority have a "live and let live" mentality that mostly revolves around everyone leaving everyone else alone.
The left doesn't share this philosophy, as it sees authority and interference for the greater good as its guiding star. Thus its drift further leftward into tyranny is inevitable. The great joke is that the members of the left who engage in this leftward drift never see it as a bad thing. They often think they're doing this for the greater good and that they're on some sort of great change for the better. "We're on the right side of history," they tell themselves.
These are the "useful idiots" you've often heard about. As I wrote on Thursday, the ultimate goal of any leftist movement is revolution, not the subject their movement is about.

The trouble is that the left became addicted to this feeling of truly "doing something." They kept wheeling out their moral equivalents of war that we should all unite and mobilize behind. They kept telling us we should bend our society toward one goal after another. The trouble is that these goals were oftentimes benefiting no one but politicians, specifically in the Democrat Party. For everyone else, these movements often left neighborhoods burning and people dead. They kept people away from loved ones or even made things far more expensive than they needed to be.
And as the damage only got worse for the people, the left only got more cocky. Their hubris has grown so much that now they're setting up camps on college campuses from which they launch destructive riots while attempting to cause distress to others not in their camp, especially Jewish students, all under the banner of stopping a genocide that's not happening at the hands of a murderous country that isn't murderous at all.
Most American citizens don't engage too much in politics but there are moments when the political occurrences become so in their faces that they can't be ignored. This is one of those times. Video of what's happening at these campuses is circulating around the internet like wildfire and none of it makes the "pro-Palestinian" students look good. Moreover, a recent event where a group of fraternity brothers protecting an American flag as they're jeered and screamed at by these leftist students makes the left look even worse.
None of this is a good look for the Democrats. Despite a hilarious scene of both sides of the argument at a college campus chanting "FJB," this is still the Democrats' creation. They are the ones who encouraged this kind of behavior over the years. Moreover, they know this doesn't make them look good in particular.
As Becky Noble reported on Thursday, as some Democrats continue to verbally support the pro-Hamas students, others are starting to understand that this is not going to help them in November. It's only going to hurt. It especially looks bad when police in Democrat-controlled areas arrest and clear out the protesters only to release them without charges and feed them on top of that.

Even to an uninformed American, this all looks very, very bad. It's going to be a wake-up call for many that the party has drifted so far left that they can no longer identify as one of them anymore. Many Americans are going to have their Reagan moment, of realizing they didn't leave the party, the party left them.
Combine that with an open border, rising crime, and a horrific economy and you have a recipe for election disaster, with the only person benefiting this time being Donald Trump, the man who was once skewered for repeating the words "law and order."
Words that are looking increasingly good right now.
Trump will likely be swept into office, not by Republicans and conservatives, but by Democrats who now find themselves politically homeless thanks to an increasingly radicalized infection within their previous party. They'll tire of these weak men creating hard times and will be desperate to have strength again.
Nothing creates a conservative like a leftist.
