An Amtrak train carrying Republican lawmakers to a retreat collided with a garbage truck on Wednesday morning according to sources on the scene.

According to Chairman of the House Commerce Committee, Rep. Greg Alden of Oregon, all GOP members are fine, and even some members with medical training went to assist those in the garbage truck that was struck.

According to reports, two drivers of the truck are being airlifted to a hospital. One, however, is dead.
