The Libertarian candidate, Gary Johnson, has gone where few Libertarians have been. Due to the unpopularity of the mainstream candidates, and Johnson’s stances that allow right and left wing people to find common ground, Johnson has become a force to be reckoned with.
One of the many battles Johnson has had to face was for ballot access, but thankfully, that is a battle the Libertarian party has won according to the Libertarian party website. What’s more, it’s a battle that hasn’t been won in over 20 years.
The last state to give Johnson the nod was Rhode Island, having secured more than double the necessary signatures to allow Johnson’s name to appear on the ballot.
Interestingly enough, there were problems with Trump appearing on all the ballots, such as Minnesota, where the GOP had no candidate listed. There was a rush to fix it, but according to Minnesota Democrats, doing this was against GOP rules, and are currently working to remove Trump from the ballots. That Johnson might appear in all 50 states, but not the GOP candidate, would prove this to be a very irregular election.
