This past weekend at the Turning Point USA student activism conference, there was alleged controversy when an embarrassing assemblage of Nazis showed up. The media built this up into a swelling movement embraced by those in attendance when, in reality, they were a miserable lot barely big enough to field a softball team, ridiculed by all who came to face them. The press reaction was as slanted and inaccurate as you may imagine.
Also on the slate is Al Gore making the rounds of the Sunday talk shows, managing to deliver distempered comments rather than impressing the audience. Only the likes of Brian Stelter and Jon Karl swooned over the easily ignored eco-warrior — Chuck Todd being the worst. Then we see examples of the press wanting to recast the attack on Lee Zeldin because, well…because he is a Republican, and Tim Young does a nice job exposing a fact-averse fact checker.
Now, crack one open and savor some mayhem from the media.
