An elderly Palestinian living in war-torn Gaza may be the bravest woman on the planet, telling an Al Jazeera reporter that the terror group/governmental entity Hamas takes all the aid delivered to the area and keeps it for themselves.
The people get nothing, she says:
...everybody is suffering...
All the aid goes to (the tunnels) underground. It does not reach all the people. We came here from Gaza City. All the aid is meant for us.
I'm not afraid (of Hamas). I am talking to them as well.
All the aid reaches the Gaza Strip, and --
At this point, the reporter -- clearly not happy with the way things are going -- cuts her off, according to a translation by the Washington, D.C., based Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI).
“A lot of aid is coming. It is being distributed. This is what they say,” he blustered, but the woman was having none of having it.
“Hamas takes everything to their homes,” she retorts, shaking her finger at him, adding that they can “take me, shoot me, or do whatever they want to me.” The interviewer quickly tries to gaslight his viewers, pulls the microphone away from the lady, and says, “It seems that the situation is unclear.”
No, Mr. Apologist, it is anything but unclear. In fact, what's been happening is crystal clear.

Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA), who has been a surprisingly strong supporter of Israel and a critic of pro-Hamas protesters since the war began, acknowledged the woman on social media:

Many others who saw the clip had similar reactions:
Wonderful, brave woman. God bless her spirit and courage.

MEMRI, the group that posted the video, was co-founded in 1997 by Israeli ex-intelligence officer Yigal Carmon and Israeli-American political scientist Meyrav Wurmser. They write in the "About" section of their website that they are helping to fight extremism:
Exploring the Middle East and South Asia through their media, MEMRI bridges the language gap between the West and the Middle East and South Asia, providing timely translations of Arabic, Farsi, Urdu-Pashtu, Dari, Turkish, Russian, and Chinese media, as well as original analysis of political, ideological, intellectual, social, cultural, and religious trends to the governments of the U.S. and its allies, and to their counterterrorism officials, law enforcement agencies, militaries, and other authorities. In this way, we assist them in tackling threats and fighting extremism.
Al Jazeera meanwhile is a 24-hour English-language news channel that is funded by the government of Qatar but claims editorial independence. In this story, their bias was off the charts, however, as you could easily tell the reporter didn't like the woman's answers and wanted to present a different narrative.
Sometimes, though, Al Jazeera -- the truth gets in the way of your spin.
This lady is incredibly brave for speaking out on this subject and saying what many of us have believed all along: that most aid for the Palestinians of Gaza goes straight into the hands of Hamas terrorists. She very well may endure horrible consequences and even death for her courage -- after all, we've seen just how savage and barbaric Hamas fighters can be.
Clearly, she thought trying to get the truth out was more important than her safety. I fear for her life, but I can't help but be moved by her refusal to back down.
