Redstate’s own Cpa Charlie wrote a post in early June about his experience with the false promises of Obamacare, and learning how it wouldn’t help his small business. Read his original post here. After talking with him, I asked if he’d like to write a more formal column about his experience for Health Care News. Thanks to that, yesterday this story was retold on the Senate floor.
Thanks to Senator Barrasso for reading this piece on the floor. It’s important that real experiences like these, not the water-carrying of Washington insiders, make it into the political conversation about Obamacare. This is far too significant of a public policy step to let Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Barack Obama and their tools in the media have the last word.

redneck_hippie (Diary) Thursday, July 1st at 7:27PM EST (link)since people are disengaged from the HCR debate right now that we need to get out there with Conservative health care stories.
The donks have had the floor on this for decades. Now it’s our turn to go for the personal angle.

vortigernpendragon (Diary) Thursday, July 1st at 7:36PM EST (link)In fact all businesses, big and small are going to be hit with troubling new tax increases next year. The Bush tax cuts expire, the estate tax comes back and I bet the lame duck Congress will try to impose whatever taxes it can between the November elections and the swearing in of the new Congress in January, 2001.
