President Trump sent a tweet on Wednesday morning addressing Russia directly and vowing to launch a missile attack on Syria.
Calling Assad a “Gas Killing Animal”, the President assured Russia that, despite Russian interference, a missile attack will be coming.
Russia vows to shoot down any and all missiles fired at Syria. Get ready Russia, because they will be coming, nice and new and “smart!” You shouldn’t be partners with a Gas Killing Animal who kills his people and enjoys it!

It was one of several tweets the President sent early on Wednesday, and one of two (at the time of this posting) related to Russia and Syria.
Russia said they would shoot down any US missiles fired at the regime of Bashar al-Assad.
In the second tweet, the President stated that relations with Russia are now worse than they were during the Cold War and seemed to be softening the ire in his earlier tweet.
Our relationship with Russia is worse now than it has ever been, and that includes the Cold War. There is no reason for this. Russia needs us to help with their economy, something that would be very easy to do, and we need all nations to work together. Stop the arms race?

His other tweets were related to fake news and “The Failing New York Times”.
