House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s recent attempts at Biblical proof-texting clearly evidences that she, like many politicians, is a pawn being used in a scheme much larger than American politics.

Pelosi’s bizarre political statements are not new. But referencing Biblical terminology is. She’s been in office for 27 years, but only in the last ten has she revised her remarks to include “Christian” concepts. She didn’t wake up one day and think, “I’ve got to start talking about Jesus.” No, her perversion of scripture was well-calculated and thought out over ten years ago by George Soros.

In 2004, Soros began creating and funding numerous organizations, mastering Screwtape’s approach to infiltrate and erode every area of American political, news, economic and social culture. To influence a broader audience, he funded efforts to train Democratic politicians and inform voters under the guise of “faith.”

One common method of persuasion is Biblical proof-texting. In order to justify an argument, a word, phrase or text is taken out of context. The text can then be used as a pretext for any argument that anyone chooses to make. But to understand scripture, context is paramount. Without it, a text’s historical and original Greek or Hebrew meaning is lost.

Proof-texting prevents non-Christians from truly knowing the Triune God, who through his redemptive plan created the first construct of order by uniting one man and one woman in marriage. Through this, God created the foundation for a flourishing society rooted in marriage and family.

Pelosi, on Soros’s payroll, claims her decision-making is based on “The Word,” which is her favorite word; “it’s everything.” It’s why, she explains, “we have to give voice to what that means in terms of public policy that would be in keeping with the values of ‘The Word.’”

When it comes to the foundation of society—the structure of a family, marriage, parents, children, and the value of human life that holds this all together, Pelosi says she believes:

The inconsistencies in her statements are obvious. But, when she proof-texts, she reveals her true self: an inherently dishonest person willing to pervert piety.

In response to the mass influx of children being smuggled, rented, and abused in order to illegally enter the U.S., Pelosi claims:

Those who have read “The Word,” know that Jesus was not a refugee, never did anything illegal, and, more importantly, is God. Mary, an unwed teenager (whom Pelosi most likely would have encouraged to abort Baby Jesus) was returning to Bethlehem with her betrothed Joseph for a census. There was no violence; just no room in the inn.

Moses was one of few boys who lived when the King of Egypt ordered all newborn boys be killed to reduce the Hebrew population.

In fact, both Baby Jesus and Moses would not exist in America today if the infanticide policies Pelosi and President Obama support were legal. There would be no need to support the illegal trafficking of children (which had been well orchestrated many months prior) because these children could be killed instead.

If Pelosi truly cares about these children, she can provide them with housing on any of her many properties and pay for their basic needs out of her own pocket of over $30 million.

After all, Jesus did say, “you will have treasure in heaven” if you “sell all of your possessions and give to the poor.”
