Sounds like the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee has just had his version of a “deplorable” moment.

Remember Hillary Clinton’s infamous “basket of deplorables” comment about Trump supporters calling half of them “racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic?”

Pro tip? Not a good idea to insult Americans when you’re trying to get their vote.

Guess old Joe hasn’t figured that out yet.

He’s set a new standard: insulting voters to their face, calling them “fat,” “old,” telling one he was “full of s**t” and putting his hands on them.

Let’s recall this fine moment on March 10, where he wasn’t wearing a mask or social distancing and assailed a voter who dared to call him out over his desire to curtail the Second Amendment. He’s now trying to argue that he wanted a lockdown in January. Biden threatened to take the poor guy outside and said he wasn’t working for him.

But perhaps the topper of it all was insulting black Americans by saying “you ain’t black” if you didn’t know to vote for him instead of Trump during an interview with Charlamagne tha God. He later apologized, but blamed Charlamagne for being a “wise guy,”, basically implying Charlamagne baited him, which wasn’t true at all. Charlamagne shot back Wednesday night, telling Stephen Colbert “I didn’t bait” Biden and that he “volunteered that fish” on his own.

Now, Biden just said that “10 to 15 percent” of Americans are “just not very good people.”

From Bloomberg:

Presumed Democratic nominee Joe Biden said Thursday that 10 to 15% of Americans are “not very good people.”

The remarks came when he was taking part in an online forum with black supporters, moderated by the actor Don Cheadle, that discussed racial relations in the aftermath of the death in police custody of George Floyd, an African American in Minneapolis.

The former vice president said that President Donald Trump has been a divisive leader who brings out the worst in people, and that “the vast majority” of Americans are decent and want to make the country a better place.

But, he added, “there are probably anywhere from 10 to 15% of the people out there that are just not very good people.”

So who, pray tell, is he talking about there? Sure sounds like he might be referring to Trump supporters. And how are you “bringing people together” when you insult close to 50 million Americans like that?
