Today must be the day for performance art on the floor of the House.

First we had the complete and utter meltdown of Rep. Haley Stevens (D-MI). But just remember, she wasn’t throwing a fit “not for personal attention.” What the heck.

Now, the tantrum of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) didn’t match the truly committed insane flair of Stevens.

But we will give her points for arm movements and her flouncing like a 12 year old girl who doesn’t get her way.

“What did the Senate majority fight for? One of the largest corporate bailouts with as few strings as possible in American history. Shameful!” “For crumbs!” she cried.

Do you see it?

Now of course, AOC is typically, ridiculous. She is truly “Veruca Salt,” she doesn’t care how, she wants it now.

Democrats held up passage of the bill for a week, trying to get all kinds of pork in. Not things for working people, but things that had absolutely nothing to do with virus relief and everything to do with Democratic pet projects like early voting, the racial make up of corporate boards and provisions concerning wind and solar energy.

What AOC and some of the others on the left were objecting to was the $500 billion provision to help businesses. But yes, there were reportedly “strings” such as an inspector general oversight board allegedly set in place to oversee it. It even forbad President Donald Trump, other government officials and their families from receiving assistance. So no, AOC was just flat out not telling the truth.

What AOC didn’t seem to understand is that money was going to support businesses that might otherwise go under or have no other way to pay their workers. It’s money going to preserve the jobs for workers so that they’re out there at the end of the virus restrictions. But she would have devastate workers and their families because “corporations” are evil.

Another thing folks notice was that in her rant against the Senate and their vote, all the Democrats voted for it ultimately, including the candidate for president she’s been supporting, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT)

She was basically throwing her candidate and her party under the bus, since they signed aboard the “greedy” bill. So is she calling Bernie greedy?

Some had a few other thoughts.
