Media shows a lot of the public moments of President Donald Trump.

You don’t always get to see the private personal moments of him interacting with people.

Gov. Gregg Abbott shared a personal moment on video between himself and the president while both were in Davos, Switzerland for the World Economic Forum.

Trump was walking past a rope line and saw Abbott sitting there.

From Daily Caller:

Trump approached Abbott, first asking whether he was all right and then suggesting that Abbott join him aboard Air Force One for the trip home.

“Are you okay? You want to come up with us?” Trump asked after greeting Abbott with a hug and a pat on the back. “I’ll give you a ride back.”

Trump turned to the gathered crowd then, saying, “The great Governor of Texas, everybody! There’s nobody like him!”

Now Abbott’s obviously met Trump before but it’s still pretty cool to get hugged by the president and invited for a ride back to the U.S. on Air Force One.

But Abott had to politely turn down the offer because he had more business that kept him there. “We would love to,” he replied, “But I’m here for a few more days. We got more deals to do.”

“All the deals that we didn’t get!” Trump joked. “Have a good time.”

From Washington Examiner:

Trump addressed the conference on Tuesday in a speech, during which he touted U.S. trade deals and the strong American economy.

“Today, I’m proud to declare the United States is in the midst of an economic boom, the likes of which the world has never seen before,” the president told other world leaders. “America is thriving. America is flourishing, and yes, America is winning again like never before.”

Gov. Abbot was in Davos to discuss the success of the economy in Texas.

“At an early meeting of world energy leaders @wef in @Davos I explained that if Texas was its own country we’d be the 4th largest producer of oil in the world. Texas succeeds because our focus is on free markets & innovation. We also lead America in wind power generation,” he tweeted.
