In any normal presidential election cycle, the thought of its candidate being endorsed by the leader of the Communist Party in America might send shivers down the spine of the Democrat Party.

But in the crazy-train environment of Donald Trump’s psychological grip on the TDS-riddled Left, the endorsement of Joe Biden by Revolutionary Communist Party USA leader Bob Avakian might actually be a welcome occurrence. Stranger things have happened.

Either way, Avakian endorsed Biden on Saturday, saying the “critical hour” has arrived to remove the “fascist Trump/Pence regime” from power. Avakian’s endorsement on the group’s website was preceded by the following ominous headline — in “yuuge” bold, all-cap font. You know, for extra-dramatic effect.

ON THE IMMEDIATE CRITICAL SITUATION,

THE URGENT NEED TO DRIVE OUT THE FASCIST TRUMP/PENCE REGIME,

VOTING IN THIS ELECTION,

AND THE FUNDAMENTAL NEED FOR REVOLUTION

Avakian was almost Churchillian as he spoke about this “critical hour.”

“At this critical hour, every appropriate means of non-violent action must be utilized to remove this regime from power. And if, in spite of mass protest demanding the removal of the Trump/Pence regime, this regime remains in power when it is time for voting, then — using all appropriate means to work for the removal of this regime must include voting against Trump.”

The communist leader made sure his comrades understand that a simple “protest vote” won’t do.

“To be clear, this means not a ‘protest vote’ for some candidate who has no chance of winning, but actually voting for the Democratic Party candidate, Biden, in order to effectively vote against Trump.”

To be sure, Avakian is no real fan of Joe Biden, either.

Like Trump, the communist leader also considers Biden and the Democrat Party “representatives and instruments of this exploitative, oppressive, and literally murderous system of capitalism-imperialism.” That said, the paramount objective is to first get rid of Trump.

Avakian explained that Biden isn’t “better” than  Trump, per se, other than he’s not Trump. Or something.

“The question is not whether Biden and the Democrats represent something ‘good.’ Biden is not ‘better’ than Trump, in any meaningful way — except that he is not Trump and is not part of the move to consolidate and enforce fascist rule, with everything that means.”

“To approach this election from the standpoint of which candidate is ‘better’ means failing to understand the truly profound stakes and potential consequences of what is involved. The fact is that there can be one — and only one — ‘good’ that can come out of this election: delivering a decisive defeat to Trump and the whole fascist regime.”

Not to suggest that Biden himself harbors any thoughts about communism or the like, but the old Democrat has made some pretty “revolutionary” statements, himself, recently.

In early July, as RedState’s Bonchie reported, Biden “made a promise that should worry everyone.” Included in the piece was an ominous — downright Obama-esque — tweet from someone coherent in Biden’s campaign pretending to be Biden.

“We’re going to beat Donald Trump. And when we do, we won’t just rebuild this nation — we’ll transform it.”

So, by “natural selection,” Biden is Avakian’s guy. Primarily because he’s not Trump, but Avakian’s guy just the same.

Thing is, according to the group’s website, Revolutionary Communist Party USA normally argues that the proletariat people should not vote in “bourgeois elections.”

Why? Because, Avakian explains, doing so only “serves to reinforce the existing system of capitalism-imperialism and feed popular illusions that exploitation, oppression and injustices can somehow be ‘reformed away’ — short of getting rid of the system that gives rise to these horrors in the first place.”

So there it is.

As horrific as life in America is, it is made even more horrific by every breath Donald Trump takes as President of the United States.

No word if Avakian jetted off to Portland after his endorsement of Biden to further participate in the “non-violent revolution.”
