The Scoop has compiled clips from a group of rappers who do not support the neo-Marxist group Black Lives Matter.

The video features a monologue from rapper A$AP Rocky who puts the killing of George Floyd in its proper perspective. He says that we should be looking at the Black on Black crime that takes place regularly in U.S. cities. Specifically, he mentions the increasing violence in Chicago.

Why are we exploiting the beef between the urban community and police officers? You don’t have to talk about the same topics.

And for me, I wasn’t there when that occurred. And on top of that, I didn’t go to any marches. I didn’t go to any protests. So, for me, I can’t speak on it because I’m not helping to change it. And I didn’t figure out a way to do it through my art. If I felt like it was something I wanted to talk about, I would have spoke about it. But I don’t feel like I have a need to. You could just look on the internet and see it 24/7.  My manager, Chase, he brought up a crazy point to me. And we were all, all as kids we were in the house chillin…or it might have been in studio. We were chillin and we were talking about the police brutality going on, in Baltimore right now and you know Ferguson and everywhere around America.

It makes you think, like what is the government really trying to hide because why are we glorifying, why are we exploiting the beef between the urban community and police officers, when in all reality, Memorial Weekend, 60 some odd people got shot, just on a Friday and a Saturday. 60 some odd people in one city – Chicago…

Nine to twelve dead. Black on Black crime.

So, one cop shoots a Black person, let’s march, let’s protest, let’s promote our mix tapes on TV, Let’s do all that. You know what I mean? Because that’s what they’re doing.

I feel like if we’re not going to talk about the main topic, don’t talk about it at all. We have to do something first. And it’s with us internally. Like we can’t blame the police officers. That kind of sh** is inevitable man. A police officer’s going to see somebody sometimes, you know. So I don’t justify cops just killing kids. That’s so messed up man.  Because there are guilty cops out there. There are cops who, you know, they take advantage with their authority, but that’s been going on. That’s nothing new. Why now? Why are we glorifying it? Why are we making a big spectrum of it now? What are we really hiding?

And if we’re going to talk about that, let’s talk about the Black people killing Black people. So, nobody wants to talk about that. Neither do I.

Rapper Kevin Gates makes the same points as A$AP Rocky. He talks about Black on Black killings and says that “…We kill each other. But if someone’s a white boy, he kills one of us…It’s bullsh**…You stand for something, you gotta stand for it all the way, not halfway.”

Next, the video shows LAPD chief Charlie Beck. He has set up a dialog with a group of rappers including Wale and Snoop Dog. Each rapper speaks briefly and echoes the words spoken by A$AP Rocky and Kevin Gates. The problem which needs to be addressed is Black on Black crime.

And where is this happening the most frequently? In cities which have been governed for decades by Democrats.

Leo Terrell, an American civil rights attorney and talk radio host, is a frequent guest on “Hannity.” During a discussion about Martha MacCallum’s earlier interview with Black Lives Matter leader Hawk Newsome, he brought up the subject of Black on Black crime. Terrell said, “…Because the Democrats are so obsessed with defeating Donald Trump, they are ignoring what is happening on the streets. They don’t care. All of this is happening in liberal Democratic cities.”

As I wrote in an earlier post, this “revolution” stopped being about the killing of George Floyd a long time ago. It never really was about Floyd’s death. That event served more as a catalyst for the riots rather than the cause. This is about power. It’s about the Democrats winning back power – by any means necessary.
