**We are blessed to live in a country that every person has the right to vote. We are blessed to live in a country where every person has a voice. We are blessed to live in a DEMOCRACY.

As AMERICANS we owe it to our fellow man to remember these blessings.

Inform yourselves on the issues, and research the candidates before you cast your vote, and don’t “ASS”ume that others have not done this when they choose differently than you. Freedom of Speech is our First Amendment Right, and it belongs to all of us.

I read the information on snopes.com about Obama. Perhaps the email I read about “where did his money come from” was rather presumptuous and misleading. However it did not change my vote or my right to have and keep my own opinion. We are about to elect the next leader of the greatest country in the world, The President Of The United States Of AMERICA. NO other vote is more important. Kudos to all who exercise this most important task and right. Shame on those of you who don’t.

I would like to add I found it ironic that snopes.com carries an advertisement to vote early for Obama, and I did not see one for McCain.

I will not vote based on color or gender, or party lines. I WILL vote based on the following:

Murder is a sin, addressed in the 10 commandments, and against the law. I will not vote for a man who will make murder legal. If my home and family is attacked, beware, I WILL pull the trigger. I will not vote for a man who wants to take away my right to defend my family. Freedom is not free, people has served and died protecting the freedoms and luxuries we call rights. I will not vote for a man who has no experience in leading those who protect us into battle. One term as a senator is not enough.

Both candidates running are guilty of mud slinging and non truths. It saddens me to think of all the money being wasted on smear commercials and lies. We could feed and cloth a lot of people with that money.

Some final thoughts;

You can not strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.

You can not help small men by tearing down big men.

You can not help the poor by destroying the rich.

You can not further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.

You can not establish sound security on borrowed money.

You can not build character and courage by taking away a man’s initiative and independence.

You can not help men permanently by doing for them what they could and should do for themselves.
