Did Trump break Federal Law?

Found this on social media:

While researching information on Trump, I come across something that should be brought to the Senator’s attention. In 2013, Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi was investigating Trump’s fraudulent Trump University and she was up for re-election at the time. Trump sent her a check for $25,000.00 as a donation. Right after that, the investigation came to a halt.

Bondi and Trump could have violated 2 federal laws.Title 18, Section 201(b)(A); Bribery of Public Officials and Witnesses. A Class D felony wth a $250,000.00 fine or no more than 5 yrs. imprisonment or both. The Second violation was Title 18 Section 1510(a); Obstruction of a Criminal Investigation. This is also a Class D felony with a $250,000.00 fine or no more than 5 yrs. imprisonment or both.

But wait there is more. Ben Carson let slip another possible violation of Federal law one that Daily Kos has noticed. Promising a Government position for an endorsement is illegal.

Could these issues derail the Teflon Orange?  If these two violations of federal laws can destroy his chances of  getting elected, it should be highlighted now, aired out and vetted.
