Illinois 16th district Republican congressman Adam Kinzinger was on with Roe Conn AM 720 WGN last week and the face of the House GOP establishment on all things foreign affairs was in rare RINO form taking shots at a fellow Republican in Presidential candidate Texas [mc_name name=’Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)’ chamber=’senate’ mcid=’C001098′ ] while lavishing praise on the guy Kinzinger endorsed for President back in February, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush.

After telling Roe that he thought Jeb Bush, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, Florida [mc_name name=’Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL)’ chamber=’senate’ mcid=’R000595′ ], and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie were his top four favorites to win the GOP presidential nomination Kinzinger turned the discussion towards social media and the 24 hour news cycle.  Why would Kinzinger go from handicapping the GOP field(in favor of establishment preferred or acceptable candidates) to talking about the media landscape?

Why, so he could attack Ted Cruz silly(and not for the first time).

Kinzinger said, “Somebody like Ted Cruz for instance, had it not been for him dominating the news cycle because of the government shutdown and everything else no body would know who Ted Cruz is and he’d never would be in the race.”

Mind you that before he defeated the sitting Republican Lt. Gov of Texas, David Dewhurst, the establishment pick to be in the United States Senate, Cruz was the Solicitor General for Texas arguing before the Supreme Court(and winning).

Kinzinger then took a jab at another presidential candidate saying in the next breath, “And the same could be said for [mc_name name=’Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY)’ chamber=’senate’ mcid=’P000603′ ].”

Not the first attack against [mc_name name=’Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY)’ chamber=’senate’ mcid=’P000603′ ] by [mc_name name=’Sen. John McCain (R-AZ)’ chamber=’senate’ mcid=’M000303′ ]’s younger self either.

Kinzinger followed that up in true member of the ruling political elites way by knocking social media, conservative talk radio, and the conservative blogosphere in favor of the liberal main stream media, who happen to haven him on their shows regularly.

“With this new media that’s come along and allow these men and women to make themselves famous without having to go through ABC Nightly News or something like that.”

Changing gears to Adam’s favorite candidate Jeb Bush Kinzinger said that the 2016 nomination was, “Jeb Bush’s to lose…I think people will be looking for the opposite of Barack Obama.  He was an inspirational figure, but he doesn’t bleed confidence and I think they’re looking for someone who bleeds competence right now. He’ll(Jeb) be a good manager.”

It isn’t competence Jeb Bush bleeds that has Adam Kinzinger smelling roses, it’s called amnesty and they both support it big time.  Jeb with his comments to Megyn Kelly Monday that giving illegal amnesty would be punishment and Adam with his repeated votes in support of President Obama’s unconstitutional executive amnesty.
