Wisconsin Democrat congressman Mark Pocan told the Beloit Daily News this week that voter fraud is a “manufactured problem” so that states like Wisconsin can pass Voter ID laws.

“When I was in the legislature I saw the manufactured problems over voter fraud,” he said. “The real fraud is the discussion of voter fraud. The one thing my brother and I have in common with the Koch brothers isn’t our bank account, but it’s our one vote.”

Pocan said a majority of states proposed laws in 2014 that made it harder to vote, and he felt the issue was widespread.

Congressman Pocan wants to amend the Constitution to outlaw Voter ID saying, “We have seen constant attempts by some states to erode voting rights and make it harder for citizens to vote. This amendment would affirm the principle of equal participation in our democracy for every citizen. As the world’s leading democracy, we must guarantee the right to vote for all.”

He and Minnesota Democrat congressman [mc_name name=’Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN)’ chamber=’house’ mcid=’E000288′ ] have co-sponsored a Constitutional amendment that would make voting an implicit right and give Congress the power to make sure EVERY citizen of age that can vote, does.  Currently the Constitution leaves qualification for voters(electors) to the states minus the 15th(slaves), 19th(women suffrage), and 26th(18-year-old voting age) amendments.

Pocan’s amendment has the support of race–baiter the Rev. Jesse Jackson who sputtered his usual racialist incoherent nonsense in a press release from Pocan and Ellison.

In that same press release Ellison said, “states all over the country are passing laws to make it harder to vote. A guaranteed right to vote in the Constitution would go a long way towards increasing access to the ballot box for all Americans.”

Apparently all of the expose video’s James O’Keefe and Project Veritas have done highlighting how easily and prevalent it is to commit voter fraud haven’t moved or swayed congressman Pocan.

Nor all of the people of get convicted after each election cycle for committing voter fraud, like those who have been convicted for publicly admitting to having voted for President Obama multiple times(in the same election).

Or of all the cases of suspected voter fraud, illegal electioneering, and more that are documented by poll watchers, bloggers, Breitbart, and others every election day.
