What is Ted Cruz thinking?
The hashtag #CruzPhotshop was all the rage Thursday on Twitter after Team Marco called out Ted Cruz for using a poorly Photoshopped image of Marco Rubio shaking hands with President Barack Obama.
Politico reported:
Marco Rubio’s campaign bashed the “culture of dishonesty” of Ted Cruz’s campaign for launching a website that uses a doctored picture of the Florida senator shaking President Barack Obama’s hand.
The Cruz campaign website www.therealrubiorecord.com accuses Rubio of supporting “amnesty,” backing a cap-and-trade carbon emissions program, being a “puppet” of Big Sugar, and teaming up with Obama to authorize reaching the Trans-Pacific trade deal. On trade, it shows a picture of Rubio shaking the president’s hand next to the caption, “The Rubio-Obama Trade Pact.”
When asked to comment, petulant Cruz spokesman Rick Tyler told CNN: “If Rubio has a better picture of him shaking hands with Barack Obama, I’m happy to swap it out.”
Twitter users were quick to have fun with the “controversy,” with equally poor, albeit hilarious Photoshopped images of Rubio in compromising positions popping up everywhere.
