Do I love this world? No, but I love the people in it such as my family and my friends. I’ve been dummy eyed by some beautiful women who have crossed my path these 26 years the Lord has allowed for me to make mistakes and seek his voice. But again I tell you I am not married to this world, such as it is because it’s a dying world in these last days before Christ returns. The Lord will come back for his people, the world will be destroyed and a new era of peace will succeed it. I believe every syllable flowing from the mouth of God which is the living word in the bible. This word, we know was made flesh in the form of Jesus Christ the savior of the world who was crucified for the whole of the human race; only to rise from his grave and sit at the right hand of the Father.
However we know from the word that Jesus was not known by the world which was made through him. Jesus was present when God created the world, but sadly the world itself hated Christ. Listen to the book: John 15:18-Our Lord said, “If the world hates you keep in mind it hated me first”
Listen to the book: John 15:19-Again our Lord said, “If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not
belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the
world hates you.” I agree with Kipling, Rob Portman has no principle, or at least none to which he can stand boldly upon no matter who may come against him. He also lacks faith because the bible says in Romans 8:31- “What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can
be against us?” If God is for you why on Earth would be fear the world? The bible says the god (little “g”) of this world is Satan, but Satan is a defeated foe. So if God is on your side and the world is dying and controlled by a god that was long defeated through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, what need is there to fear the world and its ways?
What does the bible say about the customs and the ways of the world? Listen to the book: Romans 12:2– “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect”
In other words, the world has a culture and customs that are evil and godless. The world is pornography, violence, rebellion, homosexuality, greed, corruption, pride, disloyalty, dishonesty, idolatry, deviance, lust, revenge, anger, strife, misogyny, mockery, laziness, aloof, dismissive, unforgiving, and boastful. So if Rob Portman is a Christian, then how could he support the nature of the world when it goes against God’s word and what God set apart for his children who gave their lives to Jesus Christ?
It’s rather simple actually, Rob Portman cares much more about how the world views him than whether or not he’s meeting the standards set in place by the God he says he believes in and worships.
If Jesus said he took us out of the world then you can’t then go and sign on to what the world is doing. Essentially you’re saying to Jesus, “That’s all well and good that you came and rescued me from the grave but I think I know better than you.”
And there in lays the problem with these what I’ve called arrogance elites. They honestly feel they know better than God. From the scientists to the politicians, the media, and the Hollywood walking dead, they all believe they know better than God therefore his ways are but an outdated survival guide for the narrow minded and old fashioned. But their ways according to them are new, modern, bendable and like their moral sail, easily moved by the changing wind of self important tolerance and egotism.
For Heaven’s sake could these folks dare to be truly rebellious and oppose what they deem the prerequisites for independent thought and individuality? If you’re a true Christ follower in America today you’re more rebellious than the folks occupying Wall Street with their iPhone and “Free, Free Palestine” t-shirts.
Tell me why Evangelical conservatives should continue supporting the Republicans? I mean, Republicans have basically adopted every platform of the Democrat Party short of being pro-choice and anti-Semitic. Why should I vote for a party that is desperately seeking the same base support of the Democratic Party: Gays and God haters.
I fully expect more elected GOP politicians to follow suit and have their “tolerance” moment in support of the homosexual lifestyle. Things don’t surprise me much anymore and I applaud Kipling for being the first to speak out on this issue. He’s taking mad heat on Twitter but what’s a gang of keyboard gangsters who like to throw punches online but would never say it to him in person.
Kipling is also correct in how we deal with homosexuals. We love them as human beings but we hate their sinful behavior. If my brother or sister were alcoholics or homosexual themselves I would still love them and would pray for revelation in their life so they can repent, get saved, water baptised, and live holy. But just because I love them as my Earthly brother or sisters doesn’t mean I accept who they are. Accepting someone means you accept their sin, which means you have determined by your own flawed standards because you are not God, that what they do is right in your eyes. You’re to love the person and rebuke the wickedness they partake in, whether it be same sex relationships and lifestyles, drugs, pornography, adultery, violence, fornication, what have you.
Rob Portman’s son is living a lie straight from the pit of hell and Rob Portman is appeasing that lie.
Big up to Kipling for standing on the wall and speaking truth to twisted power.
Sincerely,
