Remember last Sunday when I said there was nothing funny going on in regards to the debt ceiling battle?

A deal still does not exist, but something funny is going on.

Concerned Woman for America began running an ad today spoofing all those drug commercials we are forced to endure.

CEO of the group Penny Nance said:

This ad is targeted specifically to women because we know that women tend to hold the purse strings of the family. We know women are making very difficult choices everyday as they sit at the kitchen table with a pile of bills deciding what gets paid and … there’s a frustration out there as to why can our nation’s leaders not make the same tough choices.

It’s funny too. They better watch out, Bill Maher will be after them next week. After all, he gets his jollies going after conservative women.
