Noting this –
Washington Times Condoleezza Rice is now the first choice of California voters to replace Democratic [mc_name name=’Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-CA)’ chamber=’senate’ mcid=’B000711′ ] in 2016.
Ms. Rice edged Attorney General Kamala Harris, a Democrat and the Senate contest’s only declared candidate, with 46 percent saying they were inclined to support her and 37 percent not inclined.
The next 10 prospective candidates after Ms. Harris were Democrats, no surprise in the heavily Democratic state.

I’m not a Californian nor even an American, so I’ve no internal American political axe to grind here, except that I believe that all of mankind benefits from good American leaders like Condoleezza Rice.
I suggest that Condi is a winner on any Republican presidential ticket in 2016.
I’d prefer Condi-4-POTUS, unlike the eager candidates named in Red State’s poll who might consider Condi-4-VP but, either way, Condi on the ticket makes even blue states like California target winnable seats for the GOP, offering the prospect of a comfortable victory for the Republican presidential ticket, perhaps even a landslide, like the landslide [mc_name name=’Sen. John McCain (R-AZ)’ chamber=’senate’ mcid=’M000303′ ] would have won in 2008 if only he, McCain, had persuaded her, Condi, to run on his ticket for VP instead of Sarah Palin.
