Via The Jawa Report:
Wow today we have two, count em two…. left wing extremists blowing stuff up stories.
I couldn’t believe it either. Republicans haven’t had a day in the media like this in…well…okay, I’m only 24 years old, I can’t remember the last time so many bad stories for the Dems broke all on one day. But sure enough, I followed the links to Gateway Pundit:
What a shock. A local top Democratic strategist was involved in a bombing last year that seriously injured a St. Louis attorney.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported:
A federal search warrant obtained by the Post-Dispatch connects a former Democratic campaign strategist to a Clayton bombing last year that seriously injured an attorney.
And then to The Statesman:
A Texas woman faces trial this month in Austin on charges she threatened to kill a government informant who infiltrated an Austin-based group that planned to bomb the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minn., last fall.
Waaaait a minute. I feel SURE I would’ve heard something about bomb plots…the media couldn’t get enough of the protesters outside the GOP convention. So I kept reading:
Crowder and McKay were part of a group of activists that had gone to the Twin Cities to take part in street demonstrations. The FBI had infiltrated the group with Darby. Crowder and McKay built eight of the gasoline firebombs but didn’t use them, a fact law enforcement officials credited to Darby.
They actually built eight firebombs? How did I not hear about this?! (That’s a rhetorical question…)
So for those of you playing the home game, here’s the score:
1.) Libertarian activists play the media like a drum, all of the MSM erupts over an unloaded AR-15. Which, unbeknownst to MSNBC viewers, was carried by an African-American gentleman.
2.) The Finance Chairman for the DSCC gets busted for defrauding Citibank — a TARP bank, no less — of seventy-four million dollars. And I haven’t seen a report on that yet, by the way. Zero. Zilch. Nada.
3.) Two, count ’em two, leftist bomb plots (one of which was actually carried out) are covered in local media in one day. zZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZz…
And I guaran-flippin-tee you that given the choice between talking about this and the Rise In Right-Wing Gun Nuts, the MSM will dump the Ayers-esque story in a New York minute. I’ll even go out on a limb here, and say that you will hear more about Michael Jackson and Propofol today than you will hear about these two bomb plots in the next week.
I’m through hoping for these media types to be ashamed of themselves. It’s time to make it politically inexpedient for them to be so freakin’ biased.
