Philip J. Berg Files Writ With Supreme Court Over Obama Qualifications

Yesterday afternoon, Philip J Berg, Esq. whose recent civil suit filed in Federal Court in Philly Case No. 2:2008cv04083 was dismissed not because evidence, but on standing of the plaintiff, has taken his case to the Supreme Court of the United States.
Mr. Berg, filed a writ with Justice Suter’s office at 3:15pm yesterday. On the basis that Mr. Obama has not sufficiently proven his Constitutional Requirement of citizenship. Its unclear if the SCOTUS will take up this case given the closeness of the election.

In addition, after much inquiry by constituents on the validity of the original Berg v. Obama case, State Rep. Daryl Metcalfe (R-Butler County) investigated and discovered that candidates weren’t required to present credentials regarding citizenship in the state of PA. He has thus introduced legislation that will require candidates to present in full their citizenship credentials.

Rep. Metcalfe said in a statement, “As a veteran and an elected official who takes an oath of office, just like every past and future President of the United States, to uphold and defend the Constitutional rights of the citizens I represent, it is greatly perplexing and beyond troubling that a political candidate can ascend to the White House without providing sufficient documentation verifying his or her place of birth or American citizenship..” He also added… “This legislation is intended to send the message that even those candidates who are running for our nation’s highest office are not above the law.”
