I am tired of every Republicans talking about cutting government. Why? Becuase somewhere between the local picnic speeches and the Republican primaries, we seem to get stuck with the “moderate dude”. Dole, McCain, etc.
The true reformers sound good to us, but then when its time to take it to the Democrats we settle on the McCains.
What a breath of fresh air it would be to see a general election where the Republican candidate speaks of a Fair Tax and a 33% real cut in the Federal Budget. Can you picture the conrast it would be going against the same old tired big government Democrat?
But of course, we get candidates who will talk about “tax credits” for certain things. Wow, I have a Chris Matthews size thrill running down my leg (or is it up?).
What to do?
