I have been reading some essays in connection with a class on modern theology. Here is a direct quote from a native American who has found Jesus, about the use of religion as a from of colonialist oppression:

“. . . the way control was introduced and managed was to deconstruct the people’s sense of self and replace it with that of the colonizer–the cultural bomb. The effect of the cultural bomb was to annihilate a people’s belief in their names,in their names, in their languages, in their environment their heritage of struggle, in their unity, in their capacities, and ultimately in themselves. It makes them see their past as one wasteland of non-achievement and it makes them want to distance themselves from that wasteland. . . ”

This is the goal of all of the cultural attacks from the left. It is to make us all more malleable and controllable by destroying any positive self image we may have, but denigrating and name calling.The real purpose of all the name calling and attempted shaming is to make us all willing to do whatever our self-appointed betters ordain, to follow their dictates sheepishly and quietly without protest. By attacking our sexual identities the left attacks a core identity, an identity for most people, even stronger than race or tribe or ethnicity.

The leftist elites want to turn us into the mind numbed robots they accuse us of being and the ready acceptance of this latest nonsense by a large percentage of the population who would have rejected it out of hand even 20 years ago demonstrates their success in achieving this goal.

Resistance is not only not futile. It is necessary. To resist, we must call out their supposedly generous motives for what they are– a mask. They assert an overweening concern for a tiny minority, completely ignore the real objections– the pass that their would be legislation gives to primarily male predators to have an ideal perch from which to attack women– and point out that their real goal is to demean and degrade all of us, including the people they claim to protect, many of whom have been functioning just fine and just want to be left alone. All of their supposedly social concerns are nothing more than a mask for their real concern– gaining power to control the lives of others.
