I Thank God "Jon Carry" Isn't President

John Kerry, Massachusett’s now-senior Senator (I wonder how long he’s wanted to be referred to that way), has decided that all other problems in the country are to be sidelined so that the United States can pass an amendment to the U.S. Constitution:

As anger at last month’s Supreme Court decision that gutted decades of campaign finance laws continues to build on Capitol Hill, Senator John Kerry joined calls for Congress and the states to amend the Constitution for only the 28th time in its history, a dramatic step he said was necessary to restore restrictions on corporate influence in politics that were struck down in the ruling.

“We need a constitutional amendment to make it clear once and for all that corporations do not have the same free speech rights as individuals,” Kerry testified at a Senate hearing today.

Being a Democratic Party mouthpiece, the Boston Globe trots out Teh Won’s completely fabricated story about what the Supreme Court actually did. But no matter. Kerry, et al., believes it’s time to engage in another battle in the class war Democrats have been engaging in since…well, forever. To Kerry, the whole country has to be upended in order to keep eeeevil corporations (in actuality, those Americans who run corporations) from being protected by the 1st Amendment.

Again, I thank God this jerk isn’t President.

Remember when Kerry said this?

…addressing college students in California, the 2004 Democratic presidential nominee said people who don’t study hard would likely “get stuck in Iraq.”

The response was quite profound:

Apparently, Kerry hasn’t learned much. About anything.
