Code Pink will be protesting at Quantico in Virginia to support Bradley Manning – alleged Wikileaks traitor. Some people are declaring this man a hero, for which I must disgustingly disagree. I do appreciate his attempts at transparency, a promise I truly wish our government would keep. But what he did wasn’t merely an act of transparency, he outed hundreds of Afghan informants working for the United States. Within the documents were not only names but locations at which these people could be found. What’s even more angering is that he did it for the sake of information we already knew. He posted this data without any trace of thought or consideration for the country he swore to defend. These very unfortunate individuals are now in danger:
In an interview with Channel 4 News, Zabihullah Mujahid, a Taliban spokesman, said they were studying and investigating the report, adding “If they are US spies, then we know how to punish them.” (via Telegraph )
Of course, that isn’t all of it:
“Intelligence sources and methods, as well as military tactics, techniques and procedures will become known to our adversaries,” (via Telegraph )
Code Pink will do anything to oppose the war in Iraq/Afghanistan/whatever wars to come, even if that means standing against those that fight for their freedom to say so. I’m all for government accountability, but when it potentially puts lives at risk is where I draw the line. Code Pink has no such inhibitions, for them the ends justify the means. Their past has been well documented to not only be anti-war but anti-American:
Code Pink has gone to great lengths to undermine the United States, destroy foreign relations, as well as lower moral:
After the liberation, in the summer of 2003, Jodie Evans returned to Iraq where she set up Occupation Watch, an effort to smear the U.S. with ginned up charges of atrocities and to get troops in Iraq to quit the war. Jodie Evans relayed terrorist propaganda to a communist newspaper that American soldiers were wantonly slaughtering Iraqi women and children. (via Big Government )
They fund terrorism:
When the Code Pink Democrats delivered $650,000 in cash and humanitarian aid to what Benjamin called “the other side” in Fallujah in late December 2004 as the Marines were clearing al Qaeda out of the Iraqi city, they carried with them letters of support from Democrats Sen. Barbara Boxer (CA); Rep. Henry Waxman (CA) Rep. Dennis Kucinich (OH) and Rep. Raul Grijalva (AZ). (via Big Government )
And, just an example of how misinformed, mentally disturbed, and just straight-up dangerous this woman is:
…Jodie Evans met with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in New York City. Afterward, Jodie Evans proclaimed him to be “really about peace and human rights and respecting justice.” (via Big Government )
A traitorous fool backed by treasonous incendiaries. Code Pink should be exiled for stupidity.
