“Millionaire job creators are like unicorns,” Reid said Monday. “They’re impossible to find, and they don’t exist.”
Harry Reid pointed out that millionaires do not create jobs. I am amazed at how little of one’s own money needs to start a business and create jobs. In fact, a franchise requires so little money, you must pay out of pocket (no borrowing from friends, neighbors or banks)
After all, the amounts are so little; you don’t have to be a millionaire….
Want to start a hotel? Country Inns and Suites only requires ..well $1 million. OK bad example.
Want to start a restaurant? Here are some great opportunities for you non-millionaires out there:
$500,000 McDonalds or Perkins, or Arby’s
$750,000 Kentucky Fried Chicken
How about a fitness gym?
Charter Fitness $300,000
See??? It doesn’t take a millionaire to start any of these businesses and create jobs. I am sure no millionaires were needed to start Amazon. I do not know how Amazon survived losing tens of millions in their startup years, but I’m sure no millionaires were involved. After all, “Millionaire job creators are like unicorns,” “They’re impossible to find, and they don’t exist.”
Of course, maybe Reid has not seen these “unicorns” because the hunted do not wish to be seen by the hunter.
