If “I have a bracelet too” isn’t going to be fodder for future SNL skits, then there’s no justice in this world.
I can see it now.
“I’m wearing argyle socks too!”
“I am wearing underwear too!”
That was about the most forceful, direct statement Obama made all night, and it was entirely inappropriate. Was Obama trying to contradict, somehow, McCain’s very moving testimony, in which he vowed not to let soldiers die in vain?
When Obama wasn’t stammering and stuttering, he was lost in thickets of dependent clauses from which it was often hard to extract his meaning.
It will truly be sad for America if we elect Mr. “I have a bracelet too” to the presidency over a war hero and congressional reformer like John McCain.
