Three Easy Actions You Can Take To Win The Election

With two days to go until the end of Election Day, the best thing each of us can do is reach out to our friends and neighbors and ask for their support.

You can do this right in your area, without ever going to an official McCain-Palin volunteer center, and you can do it even if all you have is 20 or 30 minutes.

*ONE – “WALK THE VOTE” – TALK TO VOTERS IN YOUR COMMUNITY *

The campaign’s website allows you to download walks you can take right by your home to target undecided voters and likely supporters. You can do the walk all at once, or break it up as you have time. Then you can upload your results by computer.

Go to the McCain-Palin website and click on the “Voter 2 Voter” box on the left hand side.

TWO – DOWNLOAD FLYERS AND HAND THEM OUT AT LOCAL EVENTS

Going to a gun show, parade, town meeting, or farmer’s market? Set up a table with flyers and chat with passers-by about McCain and Palin.

Going to church? Ask the minister if it’s alright to leave flyers inside the entrance. And ask fellow church-goers if they want to go out to lunch after the service and discuss the election with you.

You could also out flyers at your local shopping center, if it is permitted, or at the entrance to the subway or commuter train, if you live in the city or suburbs.

THREE – MAKE PHONE CALLS FROM HOME

Using the campaign’s “online phone bank,” make calls from home to ask folks a few simple questions and obtain information needed to turn out the vote in the last 72 hours. Just download the numbers, call each one, and put in the information you gather.

Go to the McCain-Palin website and click on the “Voter 2 Voter” box on the left hand side.

IN THE LAST 48 HOURS, VICTORY COMES TO THE CANDIDATE WITH THE BEST GROUND GAME

Together, each of us taking concrete action in our spare time, we can beat the Obama ground game, and put real reformers in the White House.
