But I will add that if one is genuinely confident in one’s ability to make a difference in public affairs and play a consequential role in a position and in the shaping of policy in general, one will likely not need to make the point as loudly, as defensively, as desperately, as egotistically and as petulantly as Joe Biden has. Rather, one will simply allow actions to speak louder than words.
Or, to put matters more succinctly, Joe Biden comes across as Fredo Corleone. You can just imagine him screaming at anyone who will listen, “I’m smart! Not like everyone says . . . like dumb! I’m smart and I want respect!“
It should be an interesting four years.
