Evasive Answers We Can't Believe In

So, let me see if I have this straight: If a reporter plays devil’s advocate and asks Barack Obama some tough questions (for once!), that justifies Obama attacking the reporter as “a proxy” for John McCain?

Last I heard, we had an election coming up and that justifies having the candidates answer questions–occasionally, some tough ones–about their policies. And guess what? When one of those candidates becomes President, he will have four years of tough questions. If one of those Presidential candidates shows that he cannot stand the heat during the campaign season, how will he be able to stand it for four years at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue?

Maybe that should be the next question some reporter should ask Barack Obama. The answer–or non-answer–ought to be revealing.
