2nd U.S. Constitutional Convention

“Capitol Hill aides suggest that Republican leaders in both houses are wary of wading into the gay marriage debate so quickly after the court decision”,

I agree that people of faith and moral conscience should not have the government imposing its on views of morality and effectively placing regulations on religious express and the free exercise of one’s faith. The U.S. Constitution’s “Separation of Church and State” doesn’t remove government from God’s authority. It prevents the government from usurping its own delegated authority above it and therefore in America it is supposed to be the Majority Rule of Democracy that has the final authority of self-government. This is why I have started a petition at change.org, , a petition for each state, and placed the links to these petitions on my facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/robert.d.mcginnis, for people to sign.

If successful, collectively, the petitions would initiate a Constitutional Convention that would by pass any involvement or decision made by all three branches of government and would amend the U.S. Constitution to reflect language that establishes that by a people’s resolution of Democracy the definition of marriage will be recognized by all federal and state governments to be the union of one naturally born man and one naturally born woman and that in the future there will be no social reform, or change or national policy imposing such change without the due process of the Democratic due process.

I truly believe that this is the only recourse people of faith and moral conscience have left to take, but it will take a united stand from all religions and that can only happen with the help of a national movement and a national platform from which to launch this effort. Will you be apart of making this happen? Thank You.
