Beware Leftist, Islamic Provocateurs

In the wake of the Tucson shootings, we conservatives must be constantly on guard for provocateurs seeking to blame us for violence.

A backpack that was said to be full of explosives was reported to have been found on a park bench along the route of the Martin Luther King day parade in Spokane, Washington. It was discovered before the parade started and did not detonate.

Who planted the bomb?

Of course the first accusation is that it is obviously the work of militant right-wing racists and white supremacists. And it could very well be. And just think about the political value that the Democrats and their media friends will get out of such an accusation.

But would it not behoove William Ayers-like radicals on the political left to plant the bomb themselves in order to smear the right, including the Tea Parties which have been called racist? Or how about Islamic extremists who wish to besmirch conservatives whom they see as most adversarial to their jihad?

Indeed it would. And that is what we conservatives are up against. We must be vigilant every day, discover the truth and always reject violence. Because the left will use violence in myriad ways, both to help their cause and to hurt ours. Islamists too.

In an article called Blame Righty on her website, conservative blogger Michelle Malkin (www.michellemalkin.com) has compiled a long list of acts of violence and vandalism that have been blamed on conservatives but actually were perpetrated by leftists, like the vandalism against the Democrat party headquarters in Denver in 2008. There are many, many stories like it.

And now that the nation is on high alert for events like the Tucson shootings, every act is going to be scrutinized for its political ramifications.

So who really planted the Spokane bomb? You can rest assured that it easily could have been leftists seeking to score political points.  The backpack even had two T-shirts in it, one reading “Stevens County Relay For Life June 25th-26th 2010” and another shirt reading “Treasure Island Spring 2009.”

Could these shirts have been planted evidence by crafty provocateurs intending to misdirect the police?

Indeed it could. It all needs to be explained.

And why has law enforcement released so much information about the backpack so soon, within 48 hours? Shouldn’t they be keeping this investigation quiet in order to seek more evidence behind the scenes?

On the day of the first Tea Party rallies on April 15, 2009, Democrats sent provocateurs into rallies across the nation trying to stir up trouble. Our rally in Massachusetts was disrupted by a group of black teenagers shouting pro-Obama slogans. They tried to instigate a fight but were unsuccessful.

When Nancy Pelosi was preparing to pass the health-care bill, she marched with a group of black Democrats straight through a group of Tea Partiers opposed to the bill to try and provoke them. Congressman Emmanuel Cleaver even claimed that he was called a “nigger” and was spit on. Yet no evidence – much less proof – has ever been produced that that actually happened. It was all a smear campaign against the Tea Parties.

When Rush Limbaugh was seeking part ownership of a National Football League team, the internet suddenly burst with accusations that Limbaugh once had said that slavery was a good idea. No proof ever has been given, and obviously Limbaugh never said it. But Limbaugh was pushed out of the ownership deal on account of it.

Proof is no longer needed, however. Only the accusation serves the goals of the left, as in Tucson, which was blamed on anti-government conservatism but in fact was the work of a stoned-out, Bush-hating nut.

This is how the left operates. Don’t ever consider any devious tactic to be beneath them. Even the 1963 assassination of president John F. Kennedy in Dallas has been falsely tied by Kennedy’s nephew to extremist right-wingers. Here is what Robert F. Kennedy Jr. amazingly wrote on the huffingtonpost.com:

The Dallas, Texas, airwaves were particularly radioactive; preachers and political leaders and local businessmen spewed extremist vitriol on the city’s radio and TV stations, inflaming the passions of the city’s legions of unhinged fanatics. There was something about the city — a rage or craziness, that, whether sensible or not, seemed to have set the stage for Jack’s murder. The Voice of America, half an hour after the assassination, described Dallas as “the center of extreme right wing.” The Texas town was such a seething cauldron of right-wing depravity that historian William Manchester portrayed it as recalling the final days of the Weimar Republic. “Mad things happened,” reported Manchester. “Huge billboards screamed ‘Impeach Earl Warren.'” Jewish stores were smeared with crude swastikas. Fanatical young matrons swayed in public to the chant “Stevenson’s going to die — his heart will stop stop stop and he will burn burn burn!” The mercantile elite that ruled the city carefully cultivated the seeds of hate. Radical-right broadsides were distributed in public schools; the Kennedy name was booed in classrooms; junior executives who refused to attend radical seminars were blackballed and fired.’ (end of excerpt)

Only problem is that JFK was assassinated by a left-wing communist, Lee Harvey Oswald. But even when the history is clear, the left will continue to blame the right. Yet it is the left itself that is inextricably wrapped in a violent ethos – unlimited abortion, Hollywood violence, accommodation of murderous communist regimes, assisted suicide and euthanasia for the elderly, violent environmentalism, Euro riots organized by trade unions etc.

RFK Jr. writes:

‘Uncle Jack’s speech in Dallas was to have been an explosive broadside against the right wing. He found Dallas’ streets packed five deep with Kennedy Democrats, but among them were the familiar ornaments of presidential hatred; high-flying confederate flags and hundreds of posters adorning the walls and streets of Dallas showing Jack’s picture inscribed with “Wanted for Treason.” One man held a posterboard saying, “you a traitor [sic].” Other placards accused him of being a communist.’ (end of excerpt)

So then why did JFK ride in an open convertible car if the atmosphere was so charged?

Good question. Yet the fact remains that he was killed by a Cuba-loving communist, Lee Harvey Oswald.

No, Mr. RFK Jr., no matter how much you vent, you cannot change history.

Just think of how easy it would have been for leftists or Islamists to plant the bomb in Spokane – just leave it on the park bench the night before. And remember that Spokane is in a conservative part of Washington state so the template would be clear. Then just think of the media bonanza they would gleefully have anticipated getting out of the story if it had exploded.

It is time for conservatives to speak out at every single one of these incidents and to demand the full story. After all, history proves us right most or all of the time. Just look at the use of violent and threatening language in our political discourse and you will notice that it comes almost exclusively from the Democrats and the progressives.

Watch out for the left and the Islamists. Even RFK Jr. is so blinded by political prejudice and rage that he cannot admit who really killed his  uncle, or even his own father. Indeed Robert F. Kennedy was murdered in 1968  by a Palestinian named Sirhan Sirhan, not some right-wing Kennedy-hating reactionary.
