Last week after President Obama stood in the garden and cried over spilled milk regarding the Senate not passing two-gun legislation bills he favored, I wanted to write-up something that I noticed albeit for the first time. However, with the Boston Marathon bombings and the manhunt, this entry would have to take a back seat. Since the 2nd Bomber suspect was taken into custody, it is now time to Release the Kracken.
It was shameful to see our President have a tantrum against Republicans and Democrats who didn’t vote for the Gun Control Bill that he and “90%” of the Democrats backed. I want to make it perfectly clear, the administration is way wrong on this and I am going to break it down the only way I know how.
The Legislation failed because The Gun Control Bill would not have stopped Newtown. That is a fact that’s been quoted by Republicans as well as Democrats. White children were murdered in Connecticut and the liberals and their media went jihad on guns. It’s all about the children they say. Black children are shot and killed every day in Chicago and the same people have nothing to say.
This might curl your toes just a bit, the Gun Control Bill would not have fixed Chicago either. The Law is only effective on the lawful. Disarming the citizen while ignoring the criminal is illogical and irrational, but then again we are dealing with the Left, feelings over facts, they will be the death of US all.
Why is it that you never hear the pundits/experts ask the lawmakers about enforcing the current laws that have already been passed? Americans are overwhelmingly in favor of enforcing the laws that are already on the books. The federal government is unwilling to do so for some idiotic reason.
In the case of expanded background checks, that wouldn’t have saved the Newtown shooter’s mom who actually bought her guns legally. I know it’s a hard pill to swallow but there is no method for checking people who’re determined to buy/get a gun legally.
Jefferson said that, from time to time, the Tree of Liberty must be watered with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It seems to me the Tree of Liberty is being watered with the tears of liberals and their media, too.
