Wendy Davis is hilarious; she could have a future in stand-up comedy.  I mean, deliberately lying to voters is just something that never happens in the Age of Obama.  Oh wait; he lied – and 93 million Americans lost their insurance.  Ok, I guess it’s really not a funny joke, but neither is trying to defend your penchant for infanticide in America.

Davis, a Democrat, decided to say she was “pro-life” in her campaign to become Texas’ next governor.

I am pro-life,” Davis said during a campaign stop at the University of Texas at Brownsville, according to the Valley Morning Star.

“I care about the life of every child: every child that goes to bed hungry, every child that goes to bed without a proper education, every child that goes to bed without being able to be a part of the Texas dream, every woman and man who worry about their children’s future and their ability to provide for that future,” Davis said. “I care about life and I have a record of fighting for people above all else.”

Wait, didn’t she become the “abortion barbie” by trying to filibuster a law banning such a procedure after 20 weeks into a pregnancy last summer in Texas?  By the way, that ban is now law – and supported by 62% of Texans.  Also, 60% of American women support banning abortions after 20-week ban on abortions. No, scratch that; almost everyone supports restricting abortion after 20 weeks. Are they soldiers of the patriarchy?

Granted, I understand she had to say something; look at her fundraising totals inside the Lone Star State.

Bitch, please….mostly this is a smug attempt at co-opting language. Wendy cares so much for the health and well being of all children, she’s 100% committed to making sure the ones that would end up starving and oppressed by the upper echelons of society are exterminated before they’re born, but not quite before they’re able to live outside the womb with non-maternal assistance. It’s compassionate

Sort of in the same way that putting minor children in the custody of Charlie Sheen is compassionate when their mother is Brooke Mueller. You’re not looking at a slate of awesome alternatives.
