SHOULD A PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE ASSOCIATE WITH RADICAL HATE GROUPS?
A funny thing happened on the way to the nomination of the 2008 Democratic candidate for president; Barack Hussein Obama hooked up with Malik Zulu Shabazz for a joint appearance and a march in Selma, Alabama. Actually, it isn’t that funny – given the hateful, racist rhetoric that spews from Shabazz on a regular basis. Also not funny? Eric Holder’s decision to drop the prosecution of the New Black Panthers for voter intimidation in front of a predominantly-white Pennsylvania polling station on Election Day in 2008.
What is funny – in a curious way – is why the above images of Obama and Shabazz were scrubbed from the photographer’s Flickr account shortly after they were captured. Equally “funny,” is the fact that other than an initial report on the Selma rally by NPR, all subsequent coverage by the liberal media of Obama’s visit to Selma failed to mention that Zulu Shabazz and the NBPP were present as well.
Among those appearing with Obama and Shabazz, was Black Panther “Minister of War,” Najee Muhammed – who had previously called for the murder of Dekalb County, Georgia, police officers with AK-47s. According to J. Christian Adams, author of Injustice: Exposing the Racial Agenda of the Obama Justice Department, which is due to be released this week – the book includes a disturbing photo of Shabazz and the Panthers marching behind Obama – with fists raised in the “Black Power” salute.
The New Black Panthers are not affiliated with the original Black Panther Party, whose leaders have denounced the NBPP, suing them for use of the name, and saying that the New Black Panthers operate solely out of “hatred of white people.” The NBPP has been designated a “hate group” by the Southern Poverty Law Center, and by the Anti-Defamation League as well. Apparently NOT by brother-in-arms, Barack Obama, though.
I have a couple of simple questions, America:
Should a future president of the United States of America march in solidarity with an organization whose leaders call for the murder of law enforcement officers?
Should a future president of the United States appear in public with the “Chairman” of an organization dedicated to the hatred of white people and Jews, who says:
“The real terrorists have always been the United Snakes of America”
“Kill every goddamn Zionist in Israel! Goddamn little babies, goddamn old ladies.”
“I hate white people! Kill some crackas, kill some of their babies.”
What are we to make of the liberal media who failed to report the truth of that march – openly and honestly? What are we to make of the left-wing sock puppets who suppressed the news that the Chairman of the New Black Panthers and the future President of the United States hung out together that day in Selma? What would have happened if Fox News had covered up a similar meeting between George W. Bush and the Ku Klux Klan?
The Obama Media Group doesn’t understand why it has become so irrelevant; do you suppose TASS felt the same way at the end?
Was the Malik Zulu Shabazz who visited the White House residence on July 25, 2009 the same Malik Zulu Shabazz who called Obama a “buck dancin’ Tom,” and said of him: “He hasn’t fired a shot at a white man yet.”?
