Him doing real work for a change might have made for a refreshing change, but not to be, not to be:
Keith Olbermann was pulled from St. Paul to anchor MSNBC’s storm coverage from New York, with his seat beside Chris Matthews filled by David Gregory. Capus said political considerations had nothing to do with that move; Olbermann has been sharply critical of the GOP.
Fortunately for everyone actually involved in the Southeast, Gustav has been downgraded to a Category 2 storm. It’s a three hour trip from St. Paul to NYC by plane, plus a couple of hours for local travel; so I deeply, deeply regret the third to a half of a day that Olbermann is going to waste on this trip, and hope that both it and the other third to half of a day that he’s going to have to waste coming back won’t fray his famously rock-steady temper and quiet demeanor.
