The Republicans in Congress surrendered to Obama’s historic capitulation to Iran by permitting approval of the nuclear agreement by a mere third of each house of Congress. Our approval of this agreement can and should be revoked with the stroke of a pen on January 20, 2017 when we get a new president. It does not carry the weight of a treaty, which must be passed by 2/3 of the Senate. Therefore, Iran should not count on its continued effect. Even among those candidates who said they will not revoke the deal, such as Trump and Kasich, their strict interpretation of the deal and intent to hold Iran to exacting standards will serve as a de facto revocation in short order. And Trump, unlike Kasich, has expressed a willingness to put boots on the ground if necessary to save the Middle East from exploding and taking Israel down with it.
My hope for this rally is that it opens the eyes of America not only to the provisions of this agreement, but the inevitable consequences that will arise if it is allowed to take effect. I also trust the surrender-then-play fight strategy of the majority of Congressional Republicans will be laid bare for all to see. I could have said “Boehner” and “McConnell,” but they are only doing the bidding of their bosses. It is YOUR three members of Congress, Dear Constant Reader, who are to blame for that strategy. What are you doing to support opposition to your members who are up for re-election in the upcoming primary election?
Get out your popcorn and enjoy watching Trump, Cruz, Palin, and Levin burn down all the liberal rhetoric of the Obama Administration and its RINO Congressional cheerleaders today. Then resolve to take action. Watch here: http://www.c-span.org/video/?328012-1/tea-party-rally-iran-nuclear-agreement&live
