Assassination/Assassination Attempts=Death Penalty

The, Tucson, Arizona lunatic killing of innocent victims; attempted assassination of U.S. Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords; assassiation of federal judge John Roll, ought to be a driving impetus for the U.S. Con-gress to, at once, move to enact law mandating “capital punishment” penalty for anyone convicted of either assassinating, or attempting to assassinate, any elected official. That sentence should be executed “expedi-tiously”; no process of appeal should be allowed to extend beyond a common sense, reasonable, period of time. It does humiliation and mockery to the justice system when such an appeal could impede an exe-cution for as long as 20 years.
