Obama Tips Hand on Immigration

According to the Washington Times, President Obama not allowing illegal’s to partake of the national wealthshare health care is “all the more reason to legalize them and ensure they eventually do get coverage.”

He added that anyone in the country legally should be covered without differentiation, apparently, among legal, illegal or any other citizen.

“Even though I do not believe we can extend coverage to those who are here illegally, I also don’t simply believe we can simply ignore the fact that our immigration system is broken,” Mr. Obama said Wednesday evening in a speech to the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute. “That’s why I strongly support making sure folks who are here legally have access to affordable, quality health insurance under this plan, just like everybody else.”

Well, I hate to break it to you, Mr. Obama, but they are not like everyone else.  They did not come through immigration and naturalization, they do not pay taxes, they milk our healthcare system, education, they DO get government assistance for housing and food and add far less than they take from the country.   I don’t buy the argument they are doing the work others will not do.  That is bupkis.  With so many people out of work right now, citizens would take those jobs in a heartbeat, if someone who wasn’t paying taxes and makes less than minimum wage weren’t doing it.

Political pandering for the hispanic vote is quite obvious.

In the America I grew up in we did not reward people for breaking the law.  We were a nation of laws.

Obama has effectively jumped the curb and is trying to ram amnesty down our throats.  In Obama’s Amerikka, we should take care of people from cradle to grave and share the wealth.   You should not be entitled to your own money.

Here is my analogy:  Someone breaks into my house and takes my TV, my money, my watch, my tools and everything of value.  The police come, take down the report and then tell methere is nothing they can do because they can’t enforce the law.  They then pat me on the back and tell me not to worry about it since the guy obviously needed the stuff because he has less than me.  They go on to tell me he will be back for more, and to get a second job.  They smile and wave as they drive away in my car.
