Open Letter To John McCain

Dear Senator

I have great respect for you and for your service to our country.I thought I would write to you here because I thought I might have a better chance of reaching you then by the general email at your web site.

I will be honest and tell you that my choice in the primaries was Fred Thompson. With that said, listening to you in the debates I felt you were an honest and decent man and when Fred Thompson did not make the cut I had no reservations about voting for you.

When you picked Sarah Palin for your VP slot I thought you had made an excellent choice and to show my enthusiasm I donated money and in the box where it asked who referred you, I wrote Sarah Palin to show you my support for her.

The last few days on the trail, you have been acting some what strange. It is like you have lost your will to fight. Now I know that you want to show respect for people and I applaud you for that, but Sir I believe we are in a fight for the heart and soul of our nation.

I would never attempt to tell you how to run your campaign, but I will tell you that I love this country with all my heart.I will leave you with these words of wisdom from a man who I know loves his country, even more then me.

I’m going to fight for my cause every day as your President. I’m going to fight to make sure every American has every reason to thank God, as I thank Him: that I’m an American, a proud citizen of the greatest country on earth, and with hard work, strong faith and a little courage, great things are always within our reach. Fight with me. Fight with me.

Fight for what’s right for our country.

Fight for the ideals and character of a free people.

Fight for our children’s future.

Fight for justice and opportunity for all.

Stand up to defend our country from its enemies.

Stand up for each other; for beautiful, blessed, bountiful America.

Stand up, stand up, stand up and fight. Nothing is inevitable here. We’re Americans, and we never give up. We never quit. We never hide from history. We make history.

Thank you, and God Bless you.
