The Problem with McBush

It’s not his age, or his transparent attempt to win women over by picking a mayor of a samll town for rhis running mate, or even his flip-flop on drilling offshore, or his myopic view of economics or lack of an energy policy. Even his worn-out attempt to scare people into voting for him by talking about “911” and the “twin towers” is foregivable only because the Bush folks turned those words into meaningless excuses for bad policy. The real problem with McBush is that his judgment is horrible. First, he gets beaten with a stick by Bush & Co. in 2000 including having his status as a vietnam prisoner trashed by Rove. Then, he sucks up to W himself just when Bush is headed for the Worst President Ever title. Why? Now, with his back in the corner he reaches out to the same flunkies who screwed this country (and the real Republicans) for the last 8 years and gets Palin – a workaholic hockey mom with a teenage daughter who apparently found love from someplace other than her home (which is not surprising since Mom has “other priorities” – where have I heard that phrase before?) Anyway, experience is not a replacement for good judgment and that is where McBush falls down.
