Is Redstate suggesting "mass bloodshed" may be necessary to stop abortion?

Oh, and BLAM.

The last paragraph of this post – written on January 22nd by “The Directors” is what caught my eye:

Here at RedState, we too have drawn a line. We will not endorse any candidate who will not reject the judicial usurpation of Roe v. Wade and affirm that the unborn are no less entitled to a right to live simply because of their size or their physical location. Those who wish to write on the front page of RedState must make the same pledge. The reason for this is simple: once before, our nation was forced to repudiate the Supreme Court with mass bloodshed. We remain steadfast in our belief that this will not be necessary again, but only if those committed to justice do not waiver or compromise, and send a clear and unmistakable signal to their elected officials of what must be necessary to earn our support.

So “mass bloodshed” won’t be necessary again unless pro-lifers remain firm against abortion, and overturning Roe v Wade (whose anniversary is today)? Who is going to commit this “mass bloodshed” on behalf of the pro-life cause? Is another Scott Roeder cleaning his or her guns? After all, Roeder was one dog whose ears perked up when the dog whistle was blown, and I think it’s being blown here.

This post is a perfect example of how astonishing it is that some conservatives will either poo-poo the idea that there is violent rhetoric on the right, or reflexively say that rhetoric on the left is worse.  Does anyone here honestly believe a dog whistle is not being blown in this post by “The Directors?”

Speaking of “The Directors,”  I don’t know if “The Directors” is merely diarist here like me, or someone involved in the day to day operation of this site.  The profile for this person or persons is blank.  On the other hand, the “Help” page, which sets out the rules and instructions for posting, is also written by “The Directors.”  Either way, by allowing this post to remain on the site, I think RedState is passively condoning this kind of tripe, and it should be condemned.

Now let’s see how long it takes for Sal and/or Cybie to wave the “you guys did it too” flag and post an example(s) of violent pro-choice rhetoric, and completely bypass everything I’ve written here…
