The fundamental difference between Mcain and Obama

I am relatively new to posting so bear with me on this.

From what I have been seeing and hearing lately from both camps is a stark difference, and because of that difference, there is only one way I can vote. In one of my jobs I was once told to, “Lead, follow, or get out of the &#ing way.” That quote is driving my voting in this next election.

Government through many examples of what we can all see, no longer has the basis to lead. Either through total partisanship, (which I blame mainly on those of a liberal bent), the games of gotcha that are played on both sides of the fence, and their total inability to pass anything that is necessary for our country moving forward, have convinced me that these people in government cannot lead.

As far as follow, at least from one side, I am constantly getting the message that I should serve the Government, and not the Government serving me. I get this feel from the constant asking me for money, and not getting the services that the government should supply effeciently, I mean, when I see the same road construction project going on, that has been going on since 1998, and it’s now 2008, there is an issue and our government does not serve us, but expects us to serve them.

So the only other option is for them to get the hell out of the way, and the only candidate that appears to have that part right out of the two is John McCain.

John Mccain, either through his economic promises of not raising taxes, cutting spending and not allowing the dopey earmarks in bills, appeals to me more than Barack Obama’s tax the rich and give it to the poor garbage that I am hearing.

I could of cared less about who John Mccain picked for VP, or who Barack Obama is drinking tea with. But I do care about things like when your total association and world view is that of collectiveism, 1960 hippy garbage, as opposed to having an independence to tell people, sometimes of their own party to shut the hell up, to ensure independence and success of the country, the choice is clear.

John Mccain for ’08, and then some new blood libertarian-conservatives from here on out. Also every person sitting in congress right now, needs the size 13 in their backsides, and fresh blood is needed so that we can get our country going in the right direction.
