CPAC 2010: An Event to really irritate the Libs

Live, from the Bloggers Lounge, it’s CPAC 2010!

I have had the distinct privilege to be able to attend CPAC 2010 in DC. What an absolutely amazing experience it has been so far, and we are only 3 hours into the event!

This is gonna be a real barn-burner. Because at least 10,000 Conservatives are expected to attend, I am assuming a lot of teeth-gnashing is going on among the Lib contingent.

There are people here not only from the U.S; but I have met bloggers from Canada as well as Ireland. I was told there is a Scottish Conserv here, but so far I haven’t met him.  I am hoping if I do, he can get me into the “Scotch.”

Sen. Jim DeMint of South Carolina got the crowd revved up for our first keynote speaker: our next senator from Florida, Marco Rubio. Rubio worked the crowd, and unlike the man in the Oval Office he did not use a teleprompter. Rubio is a true Conservative, and needs the support of all of us to ensure a victory in Florida in November.

Still on the agenda for today is our own Erick Erickson, Mitt Romney, Matt Kibbe of FreedomWorks, J.D. Hayworth, John Boehner, Wayne LaPierre of the NRA and Judge Andrew Napolitano.

For all of you on twitter, we have been asked to use the hashtag #CPAC10 when referring to CPAC.

I will be giving several updates of my experiences at this amazing conference.

This event is on its way to ensuring many Conservative victories in November of 2010.
